Maui 5K

The top 5 individuals who collects the most donations with fundraising for their school will each receive a complimentary 1 year family membership to the Maui Ocean Center!  The family membership includes 2 adults and 2 children.

How to set up fundraising:

1.     Each participant who signs up will have the option to select another person’s fundraising page to support OR to fundraise on their own for their school.
        a.     Select or Search for the fundraiser you would like to support  

       OR

       b.     Click on ‘Become a Fundraiser’

       OR

       c.     Simply scroll down and click “Continue” to finish your online registration.

2.     If you choose to fundraise, click on “Become a Fundraiser”.

       a.     A fundraising page will be created which can be personalized with your own fundraiser name, photo or personalized message.  Be sure to include the name of your school in your personalized message.

       b.     You may increase your fundraising goal if you wish (you may not decrease it).

       c.     You may create your own custom fundraiser url (link).  For example, you can name your fundraising page "Jimmy Smith's fundraiser for Kula Elementary School".  You will be able to share your custom url (link) by email or social media to your family or friends which will take them directly to your fundraising page.  

      d.     Once you reach the minimum of $250 you will receive a refund of your entry fee.

A few important notes to remember:

1.     Fundraising minimum for a free entry is currently set to $250.00 and must be met or exceeded in order to receive a refund.  

2.     If a participant does not reach the minimum of $250, no refund will be issued.

3.     Participants who want a refund of their entry fee must select that option during online registration.  They are not allowed to select it once online registration is completed
